Preview the Spring 2018 Issue of Maine Outdoor Adventure & Recreation Magazine!

Take the new UNTAMED Maine Outdoor Adventure & Recreation Magazine for a test drive!

Coming March 1st, 2018, the new UNTAMED Maine Outdoor Adventure & Recreation Magazine highlights Maine’s year-round outdoor recreation opportunities and adventures to get more people outside and active in Maine.

The magazine is FREE, and always will be.

The magazine is published in digital instead of print because we love trees.  If you want a hard copy of an article or page, all you have to do is print it, simple as that.

You can call businesses and get directions right inside the magazine.

Digital magazines are interactive and awesome.  Live links make it possible to visit websites for more information, get Google driving directions to places like trailheads or businesses, and call phone numbers if you’re viewing the magazine on your smartphone.  They have built-in navigation so you can jump to different sections in the magazine and watch videos, too.

What’s in the magazine?

Articles about outdoor adventures in all seven of Maine’s recreation regions for everyone from the extreme adventurer to the weekend warrior.  Discover new destinations, great day hikes, epic Maine adventures, recreation attractions and businesses who serve outdoor adventurers like you.

Take it for a test-drive now!

The magazine has the most features (like calling business phone numbers right from the magazine!) when viewed on the free Adobe Acrobat Reader, which you can download here.  The reader is available for all platforms (including smartphones) and you can view, print, and make notes right on your copy of the magazine!
